Goa Games - Responsible Gaming

Goa Games responsible gaming: how to set deposit and time limits, recognise problem-gambling warning signs, self-exclude, and reach confidential 18+ support helplines.

Play within your limits

At Goa Games, responsible gaming starts before you place a single bet. Set a firm budget using only money you can afford to lose, treat it as the price of entertainment, and stop the moment that budget is spent. Never chase losses by increasing your stakes, a losing streak is not a signal to bet more, it is a signal to log off and return another day with a clear head.

Time limits are just as important as money limits. Decide how long each session will last before you begin, set a phone alarm if it helps, and honour that limit whether you are winning or losing. Avoid gaming when you are tired, stressed, or under the influence of alcohol, as impaired judgement leads to decisions you would not normally make.

Keep gaming in proportion to the rest of your life. Maintain social connections, pursue other hobbies, and never use credit, loans, or money set aside for rent, groceries, or EMIs to fund your play. Gaming on Goa Games should add enjoyment to your day, not create financial or emotional pressure.

Warning signs of problem gambling

Problem gambling often develops gradually, making it hard to notice from the inside. Common warning signs include spending more money or time than you planned, feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut back, gambling to escape stress or low mood, and repeatedly returning to win back losses. Hiding your activity from family or friends and borrowing money to fund play are also serious indicators.

Ask yourself honestly: Has gambling caused arguments at home? Have you missed work or important events because of gaming sessions? Do you think about gambling frequently throughout the day? If you answer yes to two or more of these questions, your habits may be causing harm and it is worth seeking support.

Recognising a problem early gives you the best chance of addressing it before it escalates. The tools and contacts listed in the sections below are confidential, non-judgmental, and available to anyone in India who needs them.

Deposit, loss and time limits

Goa Games provides built-in limit controls that let you cap your spending and playing time directly from your account settings. You can set a daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limit to restrict how much money enters your account in any given period. Once a limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets.

Loss limits let you define the maximum amount you are willing to lose before the platform automatically pauses your access for that period. Time limits allow you to set a maximum session length or a daily hours cap; a notification will alert you when you are approaching the threshold, and your session will end when the limit is hit.

Limit increases take effect only after a mandatory cooling-off period of at least 24 hours, giving you time to reconsider. Reductions take effect immediately. We strongly encourage all Goa Games players to activate at least one limit type before their first session.

Self-exclusion and cool-off

If you feel you need a stronger break, Goa Games offers two options: a cool-off period and full self-exclusion. A cool-off temporarily suspends your account for a short period, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days, during which you cannot log in, deposit, or play. This is ideal if you recognise that you need a reset without committing to a long-term break.

Self-exclusion is a longer and more permanent step. You can exclude yourself for 6 months, 1 year, or indefinitely. During self-exclusion your account is fully blocked, all marketing communications from Goa Games are stopped, and you will not be able to reopen your account until the exclusion period ends, and only after a deliberate reinstatement request followed by a mandatory 24-hour reflection period.

To activate either option, go to Account → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion or contact our support team at [email protected]. Both options are processed immediately and cannot be reversed during the active period.
